Hey MFP Lovers!
Do you like our Spring Summer campaign images? Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at one of our lookbook shoots? It's always the funniest and most enjoyable event of the season, when all the team and Maria get together for a day at the photographic studio!
We asked Maria herself what she thinks of shooting the campaign, and here's what she said:
"Shooting the seasonal collections' lookbooks has always been one of my favourite stages of the creative process. It's the moment I can give life to what was held in my head for long time, since I envisioned the collection at the beginning of the the design development. It's the moment where the jewels take in their own essential shape and bright the most. Through the lookbook pages I can show the essence of the style within the objects, and what makes them fresh and unique: the concept. For this SS16 lookbook I collaborated once more with my long-time partner in crimes Pandora Lennard and Kim Jacobsen To. Working with both of them feels so easy and it always feels like they understand exactly what I am after. I usually send them references of my research, images I like, details that inspire me and they take it from there. I usually set the scene and main concept based on the original inspiration of the collection, however often the shooting process itself brings it to places unexpected and makes it even more relevant. It's Magic."
Speaking of Magic...below is an outtake from our latest camapaign shoot for MFP Spring Summer 2016 collection 'Magic', including the capsules 'Goddess', 'Karma' and 'New Moon', all online now.
